"Tasted at Vintex. A very ripe, floral, Margaux-like nose with fine definition and purity, the Merlot very expressive. This is one of the few “lesser” Medoc wines that has a fleshy mouthfeel. "Lovely open and expressive nose. Plenty of new oak going on here, giving sweetness and structure. The alcohol is high, but it is balanced, and almost in check. Made with an eye of who will be drinking it, which is no bad thing. 70% merlot, 10% cabernet sauvignon, 10% cabernet franc, 10% peitit verdot. 100% new oak barrels (and malolactic in 50% new oak). Drink 2018-2028."
