"(90% merlot and 10% cab franc): Moderately saturated red-ruby. Musky aromas of currant, roast coffee, licorice and chocolate; strong oaky torrefaction dominates today. Supple on entry, then easygoing in the mid-palate but with only moderate intensity and thrust. The chocolately quality carries through in the mouth, which could use more definition. Finishes with slightly dusty tannins. Best suited for early drinking as there does not seem to be enough structure here for serious cellaring."
