"There is plenty to like about this medium to full-bodied St.-Emilion, including sweet notes of black currants, cherries, figs, plums, and underbrush. At the same time, the tannins seem slightly elevated and are borderline astringent. There is good density and plumpness, but the jagged finish needs to become better integrated. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2018."
