"(a blend of 80% cabernet sauvignon, 10% petit verdot and 10% merlot) Deep ruby. Intense aromas of candied red cherry and violet. Juicy and vibrant on entry, with high but harmonious acidity and fine tannins framing the flavors of pomegranate and dried red cherry. Much better than the 2007: this wine has no doubt been improved by the introduction of high-quality petit verdot grapes and the decision to use 10%-15% of the fruit grown on the sandy soils of the estate for a new rose bottling (made by Denis Dubourdieu)."
