"(100% merlot): Deep ruby-red. Blackberry, licorice pastille and bitter chocolate on the nose; very New World in style. At once lush and penetrating, with flavors of black fruits and cured tobacco lifted by a floral note. A bit peppery without coming across as green. This nicely focused merlot finishes with serious tannins, a hint of oak char and very good juicy length."
