"Another sleeper of the vintage, the dense ruby/purple-hued 2012 reveals sweet cranberry and black currant fruit intermixed with hints of spring flowers, earth and subtle wood. Supple, fruity, medium-bodied and well-made, this beauty can be drunk over the next decade.
Poujeaux has been on a hot streak following the change of ownership (the Cuvelier family now owns this property)."

"The 2012 Poujeaux has a very subtle note with dark cherries, plum and even a touch of marmalade. It is well defined and the oak is well judged in its supporting rather than starring role. The palate is medium-bodied with gently gripping tannins. I like the acidity here, lending a keen edge to the finish. It feels long and confident on the mouth. This is a successful, delicious Moulis from the Cuvelier family. Tasted April 2013."
