"Very parcellated indeed! Owner is a Belgian biologis Dr Gaëtan Lagneaux. Sweet, lightly toasty, easy nose. Slightly liqueur-like on the palate so that it is not one of the most piercing, minerally wines of this appellation, but it's a flattering drink and should be very good value."

"The Le Petit Bocq has impressive freshness and vitality on the nose with fresh brambly blackberry fruit. The palate is fresh and well defined with tensile tannins, ebullient red-berried fruit marked with superb acidity and vigour. Perhaps not a long-term Saint Estephe but very feminine and beautifully crafted. Tasted April 2011."
