"This low level Pomerol reveals medium to full body, a masculine structure, a dense ruby/purple color and sweet notes of black currants, crushed rocks, smoked game, herbs and earth. Medium to full-bodied with moderately high tannin, it will benefit from 2-4 years of cellaring and should keep for 12-15 years."

"Tasted at JP Moueix. The Lafleur-Gazin is loose-knit on the nose and lacking the focus and cohesion of the Château Plince ‘10 tasted just before. Very ripe plum and cassis-scented fruit, but nebulous at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with dark cherry, citrus peel and blackberry on the entry, the tannins a little hard and pointed, leading to a linear, attenuated pointed finish. Hopefully this will mellow during its elevage. “Spiky” at the moment, this needs to settle down. Tasted April 2011."
