"Beautiful red with dark hues. Nose of extremely mature fruit. Smooth on entry then fleshy on the mid-palate and well-coated on finish. The persistent finish could be more aromatic. I was hoping for more depth and a better structure."

"Tiefes Purpur. Grosses, reifes Cabernet-Bouquet mit viel Wärme, toller Süsse und passenden Rösttönen, trotz der Intensität nicht alkoholisch in der Nase. Reifer, kraftvoller Gaumen mit einer fülligen, sehr noblen Adstringenz, grosses Potenzial. Phänomenal wie der 2009er, aber klassischer im Stil. 19/20 2016–2034"

"(this is the prestige cuvee of Rollan de By) Inky, opaque ruby-purple. Sappy, intense aromas of cherry liqueur, coffee, mocha and violet. Ripe and silky in the mouth, with lively floral and mineral elements providing energy to the smooth dark plum and milk chocolate flavors. Finishes seamless, broad and long, with a dusting of very fine tannins. Should offer a lot of wine for the money: this is one of the best Haut Condissas vintages I recall at a similar stage of development."
