Jancis Robinson: 16/20 "Drink 2015-2023; Very dark purple. Attractive freshness on the nose. Very lively and very polished. What?s not to like if you?re looking for a relatively easily maturing good value claret?"
Decanter: **** 16,5/20 "Black red, concentrated blackcurrant fruit, slightly smoky, very rich and terrific natural depth, fragrant and succulent on the palate, floral, fleshy and firm with fine vineyard definition. Drink 2014-20." Quelle: www.decanter.com
Robert Parker: 88-90+* "FOne of the more obscure classified growths of the 1855 classification, the Dourthe firm continues to make improvements here, and this may well turn out to be the best wine they have produced. Dense purple, with notes of red and black fruits, charcoal, graphite, and spice, the wine is deep and has terrific purity, full-bodied texture, and a fleshy, long, round mouthfeel with well-integrated tannins. It should drink well for 20 or more years."Quelle: "The Wine Advocate" issue 188
Neil Martin: 90-92 "Tasted at the Medoc UGC and from a sample tasted at home. This has a tight, but well defined bouquet with blackberry, raspberry leaf, cedar and a touch of violets. Bright and lively. The palate is full-bodied with a juicy, fruit-driven entry, but then the tannins on the back palate show that this Haut-Medoc has good backbone. Well-balanced, lovely grainy black fruits infused with tobacco on the persistent finish. This is an excellent, very ?classic? Haut-Médoc and a great 2009. Tasted March 2010." Jane Anson: 90-91 "The weight of fruit is good. It gets plenty of tannic structure into the frame, and you can imagine there would have been rejoicing in the cellars. But where is the charm of the best 2009s? Seems to be a little too imposing, although it gets recognition for great length, and a punch of fresh air on the finish. 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot."Quelle: www.newbordeaux.com
Bettane & Desseauve: 91 "A beautiful 2009, perfectly ripe grapes, wonderfully enveloping substance, the alcohol is there, but the wine isn't heavy at all, rich flavors, a touch of chocolate, great length on the palate, but lacking a little something that would set it apart from its collegues."Quelle: "TOP 2009 BORDEAUX RATINGS"
