"Full bottle 1,312 g. 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot, 12% Petit Verdot.
Dark like black-cherry skins. Smells less scented than the M de Ch Moulin Riche but still powerful. More dark and cedary with all that Cabernet Sauvignon. A big wine but with finely dry tannin texture, which brings an elegance to the power. And the alcohol is surprisingly well integrated. Chewy, deep and tannic but not tough. Not particularly refreshing but then it is 2018. Not for wimps. Needs time."

"59% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, 17% Petit Verdot, 1% Cabernet Franc, pH 3.7. Barrel sample.
Deepest cherry red. Like the Pavillon de Léoville Poyferré, so open and welcoming on the nose, such depth of ripe but fresh and pure fruit. There's tannin density and finesse at the same time, with a cool freshness on the finish as the tannins seem to go from dense to fine at the end. Juicy at the core even with all this tannin. Balanced and satisfying. Hint of spice on the finish."
