"Plenty of grip, you are taken straight into Pauillac in the first few beats of this wine, with its cassis and bilberry fruits, hawthorn and eucalyptus juice and spice, and the powerful tannins that are the mark of the vintage up here. These are concentrated fruits, but overall there is also a sense of uplift and forward motion. Great stuff. Drinking Window 2024 - 2040"

"Cask sample. Beautifully vibrant cassis, ripe berry-fruit on the nose with an underlying suggestion of leafy green notes. Ripe fruits on the palate with juicy cassis, firm and rounded tannins with an oaky char (nicely judged). Chewy and opulent but still shows good sense of place. Shows good potential."

"Dark purple colour with violet hue and black core. Elegant and expressive nose with refined fruit. Aroma reminiscent of blackcurrants, ripe plums, sloe, vanilla, dark chocolate and toasted gingerbread in the background. On the palate well structured with freshness, ripe and velvety tannins, elegant fruit and hints of minerality. A well balanced with very good length.
