“The wine is surprisingly dark berry-fruited with more minerality than Bordeaux Superieur tends to possess. There is plenty of fruit as well, and the medium-bodied, nicely concentrated finish has no hard edges. Drink it over the next several years. This is one of the weirdest blends in Bordeaux, but consistently one of the top wines at this price point and from these humble origins.
This is a small vineyard of just under 14 acres. It is an exclusive of Jeffrey M. Davies’ Signature Selections."
