"The 2015 Château Fonroque has a very perfumed and floral bouquet that instantly satisfies, the new oak neatly folded into the fruit, hints of marmalade and mulberry developing with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with supple, ripe tannin, impressive depth and density yet without impinging upon the freshness and tension on the finish. What an excellent wine from Alain Moueix."

"Rouge grenat aux reflets violets. Bouquet juvénile, encore marqué par son élevage. Notes de fruits rouges, chocolat et réglisse. Attaque suave et fruitée. Le vin est agréable et dispose d'un corps crémeux. Bon équilibre entre les tannins granuleux et la structure. La finale est racée et doit s'assouplir. Les éléments nécessaires pour arrondir les angles sont là! À suivre."
