"The Chateau de Pressac 2014, which is a joint-venture between Alain Raynaud and Hubert de Bouard (in fact, the former´s father was born at this property), is a majority of Merlot, but unusually contains Malbec and Carmenere. It has a fresh and lively bouquet with plenty of fresh blackberry and raspberry fruit mixed with a touch of limestone. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp acidity, good depth and structure with a fine saline finish. There is plenty of character to this wine that should be worth looking out for."
