The medium-bodied palate is bright and crunchy, packed with lively black fruits and soft, approachable tannins, finishing long and spicy."

"Deep inky damson in colour, fairly closed on the nose although it opens up after a few minutes in the glass. It has soft tannins and this is packed with well expressed blueberry and raspberry fruit, clear spice and a black pepper spike through the finish. Always an enjoyable wine, with touches of both Carmanère (2%) and Malbec (1%). 65% new oak. A yield of 40hl/ha."

"Fresh, juicy, soft and polished, the wine is medium-bodied, supple and elegantly styled. The plums are fresh and the sweet cherries are even fresher. The licorice and espresso accents add to the fun. The finish, with its freshness and dark chocolate covered, lifted red fruits resonates."

"Couleur sombre, intense et belle. Nez intense, au fruité mûr, finement toasté. Bouche moelleuse et fondante à souhait, avec de l’éclat dans le goût, de la présence et de la minutie dans la texture tannique. Finale aromatique, sèveuse et sans angle. Bonne longueur. Assemblage original de 77 % merlot, 11 % cabernet sauvignon, 9 % cabernet franc, 2 % carmenère, 1 % malbec. Rendement : 40 hl/ha."

"Deep purple colour with violet hue and black core. Opulent nose with intense fruit, blackberries, sweet elderberries, ripe plums, hints of wild strawberries in the background. Distinct toasting aroma, dark chocolate and mild spices, vanilla in the background. On the palate well structured and balanced with sweet berries, mild spices, ripe tannins and elegant freshness, multi-layered finish. The best de Pressac ever tasted "en primeur."

"I´m not sure the 2019 Château De Pressac will match the 2018, but it´s certainly in the ballpark, offering a beautiful core of black raspberry, cassis, and mulled red fruits as well as notes of smoked herbs, chocolate, and flowery incense. Spicy, medium to full-bodied, exceedingly elegant, and balanced, it’s a wonderful, layered 2019 that will have plenty of upfront appeal yet evolve nicely for 15+ years."

"The 2019 de Pressac is fabulous. Inky, rich and explosive, the 2019 possesses off-the-charts intensity and personality. Inky red and purplish fruit, rose petal, lavender, spice, menthol and wild flowers all run through the 2019. With its serious aromatic and flavor complexity, de Pressac is one of the most intriguing wines in all of Saint-Émilion - it´s amazing it does not get more attention. A whole range of floral and mineral notes punctuate the finish."

"The 2019 de Pressac has a very intense and concentrated bouquet with layers of macerated black cherries, crème de cassis and violet aromas that threaten to overwhelm the senses. The palate is medium-bodied with saturate tannins that lend this a fleshy mouthfeel. The fruit is pure and that is an almost sorbet-like sweetness and freshness on the seductive finish. I suspect it will be just as seductive once in bottle."
