"A seductive but slightly held back feel, this has an attractive frame and plenty of raspberry, coffee and tobacco grilled fruits and spice. Enjoyable although doesn´t totally escape the effects of a dry summer, there is some closing down and tightness of the tannins, balanced out by a burst of fresh mint which lifts the palate on the finish. Enjoyable. Harvest September 14 to 21."

"Dark purple colour with violet hue and black core. Fragrant nose with aroma reminiscent of Boysenberries, mulberries and floral hints, vanilla and hints of cocoa in the background. On the palate well structured with sweet fruit, ripe tannins, fine acidity resulting in an excellent wine with freshness, depth and length."

"Deep purple-hued, with a brilliant nose of blueberries, black cherries, damp earth, chocolate, and flowers, the 2020 Château Lafleur-Gazin is medium to full-bodied and has a wonderful mid-palate, building tannins, and a great finish. One big, rich, dense Pomerol, it’s going to handsomely reward bottle age. Give bottles a solid 5-6 years and it should keep for two decades or more."
