"The 2015 Château Fonbadet felt a little over-extracted on the nose, with fresh prune and date scents infiltrating the black cherry and blueberry fruit. The palate is chewy and sweet, chunky in texture with a firm grip, hints of graphite coming through on the masculine finish. I just feel this is pressing too hard on the accelerator, when frankly, in this vintage there is no need to. Tasted twice with consistent notes."

"A totally sexy, voluptuous wine, the 2015 Fonbadet is terrific. A rush of dark cherry jam, wild flowers, mint, espresso and licorice gives the 2015 its decidedly exotic, voluptuous personality. Silky tannins and plush fruit add to the wine's sumptuousness. There is a presence to the 2015 that is hard to describe but that has been present each of the three times I have tasted it so far. Simply put, Fonbadet is gorgeous in 2015."

"Pourpre violacé. Bouquet séduisant et agréable avec des notes de graphite, chocolat noir et réglisse. À l’aération je relève également des feuilles de thé, de la cannelle et des griottes. En bouche, l’attaque est fruitée et vive. Agréable fraîcheur. Le corps a un bon caractère aromatique avec des fruits confits frais et des cerises. Les tannins se révèlent lentement et sont en symbiose avec la structure. Un vin qui a du potentiel. Bravo."
