"80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot; 40% new oak. Barrel sample.
Deepest greyish crimson. Lively, aromatic hedgerow black fruit. A note of black tea. Distinctive in its fragrance. Silky texture but there’s a strong intrusion of oak char, which is a shame after that aromatic start. Fresh on the finish too. My score is based on the assumption that the oak will recede."

"Pourpre violacé. Bouquet de bonne intensité, marqué par son élevage avec des notes de café et de noisettes. A l’aération il révèle de la fraîcheur, ainsi que des notes fruitées et florales. Au palais le vin est friand en attaque. Il est doté d’une bonne intensité aromatique et de tannins bien intégrés. Manque un peu de relief ou de « background » par contre ceci le rend très accessible. Un vin à savourer dans sa jeunesse."
