"This is the second vintage produced as entirely biodynamic under Latour tutelage. These are good, bright and pliable tannins, and the fruit is extremely dark with good spice through the palate. I really like the cut herbs on the nose. This is a wine that has improved over recent years and is really one to watch."

"Firm bright crimson. Very zesty and fresh on the nose. Not that much tannin. Pretty. Gamey energy comes pounding out of the glass. Very sweet start and obviously polished tannins and good quality oak. Round initially with rather sandy tannins on the end. Tasted again on 2 April from a sample taken on 28 February: Very zesty and fresh on the nose. Round and sweet. Not that much tannin. Pretty."

"One of the sleepers of the vintage, the 2016 Siaurac is a gorgeous, racy Lalande de Pomerol endowed with tons of class and personality. Silky and voluptuous, but not at all overdone, the 2016 finds a super-appealing stylistic middle ground that captures plenty of intensity in both aromas and flavors. Blue/purplish fruit overtones, lavender, herbs and mint shade into the persistent, nuanced finish. Tasted three times."

"Pourpre violacé. Bouquet de bonne intensité. Fruité et un peu variétal. Cassis et ronce. Mise en bouche friande. Le vin a du corps et est parfaitement équilibré grâce à un bel accord entre les tannins et la structure. Un vin que l’on pourra savourer dans sa jeunesse. Je trouve qu’il devrait un peu gagner en fruit. A suivre."
