"One of the standouts at my Cru Bourgeois tasting was the 2015 Clos La Bohème and this total gem comes from a tiny estate in the southern part of the Médoc, near the town of Macau. As I’ve said numerous times in this report, the southern Médoc was the place to be in 2015. Based on 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot aged 20 months in 80% new barrels, it notes of sweet cherries, balsam, and dried flowers are followed by a medium-bodied, pretty, beautifully balanced 2015 that has fine, sweet tannin and a great finish. Don’t miss it."
