The medium to full-bodied palate explodes with fantastic energy and tension, featuring intense red, blue and black fruit layers with lots of floral sparks and beautifully ripe, satiny tannins, finishing long and perfumed. Former Mouton-Rothschild winemaker Patrick Leon and his family really kick the quality and expression up a notch this year—bravo! For sure, this is one for the bargain hunters."
