"The 2015 Laussac has a detailed, quite complex bouquet with lifted blackberry and cedar aromas, very expressive and welcoming. The palate is clean and fresh, very well balanced with grainy tannin, pure black and red fruit, and is beautifully poised with an elegant finish that is an absolute delight. Expect this to land at the top of my banded score - absolutely superb."

"The 2015 de Laussac Cuvée Sacha is quite a bit better than the straight Laussac. Although the oak is still dominant in both flavor and texture, the Sacha has enough fruit and textural richness to provide some measure of balance and follow through to the finish. Overall, this is a solid wine made in a flamboyant, super-ripe style. In my view, there is quite a bit of untapped potential here. Tasted two times."
