Weinbeschreibung
Der in dunklem Purpur gehaltene Margaux-Klassiker und Budgetschoner dokumentiert seine seduktiv-animierende Art in einem berauschend feinfruchtigen, von feiner Würze, dezenter Floralnote und erdiger Bodenhaftung geprägten Bouquet, das durchaus burgundische Dimension hat. Mit einem Korb voller Kirschen- und Brombeerfrüchten, die auf den Punkt reif sind und fleischige Frische vermitteln, legt sich der Wein in elegant druckvollem und völlig unangestrengtem Druck auf die Zunge und gleitet den Gaumen mit animierender Eleganz aus. Die Tannine sind fein und geschliffen und schon jetzt sehr gut integriert. Das anhaltende Finale ist von mit belebend kühler Frische unterlegter nobler Süffigkeit geprägt.
Du Tertre ist der Margaux-Diplomat, der feinhedonistischen Auftritt mit intrinsischer Bodenhaftung und vernünftigem Preiskalkül verbindet. Meine Empfehlung. Matthias Hilse: 90-92 Punkte

"For me, a clear step up from the 2008, although I enjoyed last years and really think we are starting to see continued great results from this property. Fruit is plump and sweet and very approachable, especially for a primeur sample, but with great backbone. 55% cab sauvignon, 22% merlot, 15% cabernet franc and 8% petit verdot. 45% new oak. "Drink 2016-2028; Lightly treacly nose. Interesting. Very different sort of nose. The fruit is kept in check not too aggressively sweet. Tamped down to provide much more of a classic Margaux style but with lots of pleasure. Very cool indeed."
