Weinbeschreibung
Wenn sich neu erworbener Status im Farbauftritt zu manifestieren vermag, dann deutet der tiefdunkle Dauzac bereits beim Augenspiel seine Rasse an. Das aromatisch weitläufige, von feiner Würze unterlegte, dominant dunkelbeerige Bouquet von üppig reifen Brombeeren und Cassis wird konzertant komplettiert von feinen Veilchennoten, exotischer Holzwürze und Duftschüben frisch gemahlener Arabicabohnen. Mit nobler Eleganz, die von wohliger Fülle getragen ist, flutet der ungemein aromenreiche Wein den Gaumen und bezaubert durch die erhabene Balance des großen Fruchtfvolumens mit der vibranten Säure und den elegant feingeschliffenen, betörend reifen Tanninen. Der süße Extrakt erfährt seinen Widerpart in der mineralisch unterlegten Frische und der saftig-fleischigen Frucht und läßt den Wein zu einem animierend harmonischen und in seiner zeitlichen Komponente überzeugenden Finale gleiten.
Ein fruchtbetonter Margauxklassiker mit noblem Auftritt.

A blend of 64% Cabernet Sauvignon and 36% Merlot, this has a lively, ripe, joyful bouquet with fine definition and purity: blackberries, wild strawberry, a touch of cedar and sous-bois. Very fine definition. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, very good balance...this is one of the Dauzacs that has been lighting up the Margaux tastings in recent years.
