Robert Parker:

"This may be the finest dArmailhac I have ever tasted. Made in a textured, full-bodied, sumptuous style, it is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, and the balance primarily Cabernet Franc with a tiny dosage of Petit Verdot. It exhibits a deep ruby/purple hue along with floral, red and black currant, cedar, and spice characteristics. Deep, medium to full-bodied, and impressively pure as well as long, it should drink well for 25 years. (Tasted three times.)"Quelle: "The Wine Advocate", issue 188 90-93 Punkte

René Gabriel:

"60 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 24 % Merlot, 14 % Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot. Sattes Purpur-Granat, dicht in der Mitte, lila Schimmer aussen. Warmes, wohlig ausströmendes Bouquet, viel Pflaumen und Dörrfrüchte, Kakao und eine Prise Mokka, aber nur wenig Beerenfrische. Rahmiger Gaumen, viel Souplesse, wirkt burgundisch und ähnelt sehr dem 89er, ist aber bedeutend konzentrierter. 2016–2032"Quelle: "WEINWISSER" N° 4/2010 18/20 Punkte

Jane Anson:

"I very much like this haunting quality to the fruit. Lovely rich plum flavours, but a real intensity and build as it stays in the palate. Smoky charred aromas of coffee at the end that adds a modern touch without being overbearing. 60% cabernet sauvignon, 24% merlot, 14% cabernet franc, 2% petit verdot. Picking from Sept 23 for the merlot to Oct 6 for the cabernet sauvignon. This has very good structure and a good sweet fruit lift on the finish." Quelle: www.newbordeaux.com 93-94 Punkte

Decanter Magazine:

"Dense purple red, lovely expression of ripe blackcurrant fruit, polished, classy, seductive and impressive, beautiful texture and length, totally charming Pauilac that will age well. Drink 2014-25." Quelle: www.decanter.com 17,5/20 Punkte

James Suckling:

"Love the minty, floral and dark berry aromas to this young wine. Full-bodied, with supe fine and polished tannins. Long and racy. Wonderful texture. Perhaps the best d´Armailhac ever."-J.S." 91-94 Punkte

Jancis Robinson:

"60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot. Picked 23 Sep 6 Oct. Very dark crimson. Inky and fragrant with just a hint of farmyard. Black cherries for the first time on the left bank! Less obviously ripe and supple than many 2009s on the nose but then on the palate theres a sweet start and then a pretty chewy, slightly sinewy finish. Sweet and polished not too much soul but an awful lot of effective artifice! Reasonably complete. More traditional tannin management than some. Fairly chunky." Quelle: www.jancisrobinson.com 16,5/20 Punkte

Bettane & Desseauve:

"The most complete wine Armailhac has made recently, it has more graphite notes than Clerc-Milon, and is a little less full-bodied, but there's more elegance in the tension of the wine and the way it lingers on the palate, a great future ahead." Quelle: TOP 2009 BORDEAUX RATINGS" 94 Punkte

Peter Moser:

"Dörrobst, Kräuterwürze, schokoladiger Touch, facettenreich. Elegant, feine Tannine, frisch strukturiert, reife dunkle Beerenfrucht, harmonisch, mineralischer Nachhall, gutes Potenzial, Schokolade im Rückgeschmack." Quelle: "Falstaff" 03/2010 92 - 94 Punkte
