Weinbeschreibung
Erst die geduldige, kreisende Schwenkbewegung setzt ein zunächst sehr verhaltenes, fast scheues Dunkelbeerbouquet mit aromatischem Einschlag frei, das mit zunehmender Lüftung sehr noble, von feinem floralem Hauch und pointierender Minze begleitete Maulbeer- und Brombeerwolken zeigt. Der Gaumenauftritt ist von distinguierter Noblesse, in feiner Balance, großer aromatischer Weite und präziser Fruchtexpression gleitet der feine Rebensaft wie aus einem Guss über die Zunge, die Tannine sind dabei von erhabener Eleganz. Der zugleich konzentrierte und mit fleischig-saftiger Frucht feine innereSpannung haltende Wein verabschiedet sich mit einem aromatischen, animierenden Finale.

Drink 2016-2028; Dark crimson. Intense meat extract savoury nose. Then rather loose on the palate with the furry tannins coming in only on the very end. Reasonably dramatic wine, not at all in the classic Margaux mould. A little drying on the finish, and just a slight lack of freshness. But certainly it has pzazz and impact.
