Weinbeschreibung
So undurchdringlich seine Farbe ist, so tänzelnd fein ist sein Bouquet von saftigen und sehr reifen dunklen Beeren, in die sich eine dezente Rauchnote hineinwindet, der Schoko-und Kaffeeduft folgen. Mit mittig konzentrierter Dynamik füllt der sehr aromatische Rebensaft den Gaumen aus und der Wiegefluss zeigt einen Wein von hoher innerer Spannung und erhabener Balance. Der dichten Frucht liegen sehr reichhaltige, aber überaus feine und geschmeidige Tannine zu Grunde, der hohe Cabernet-Anteil sorgt für Würze und vor allem Frische. So wie der Segler durch die Lüfte gleitet, schwebt der Fleur Cardinale in Eleganz einem Finale von saftigem und aromatischen Esprit geprägten, langen Finale entgegen.
Die wunderschöne Symbiose dichter saftiger Frucht und unerhört eleganter Gerbstoffe. Matthias Hilse: 92-94 Punkte

Robert Parker:While the 2009 La Fleur Cardinale is an outstanding wine, do not expect it to ever achieve the greatness of the 2005. Yields were a tiny 30 hectoliters per hectare, the wine is composed of 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the alcohol level is 14.5%. Some rugged tannins are noticeable, but they should age out with 3-4 years of cellaring. The wine is concentrated, pure, impressively perfumed, and long, but the tannins are astringent at present, giving it a dry, raspy element in the finish.
