"Tasted at Chateau Trottevieille, a blend of 50% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, cropped at just 10hl/ha due to the parcel on the plateau decimated by hail, hence just 15 barrels compared to the usual sixty. It has a very pure, lifted nose with fine definition: pure blackberry, bilberry, granite and a touch of smoke. The palate is very rounded on the entry, supple and lithe yet with good backbone, earthy black fruits, very harmonious towards the finish that shows commendable weight and persistency. Just a little sullen towards the finish, but hopefully it will brighten by the time of bottling. Excellent. Tasted March 2010."Quelle: "Wine Journal", www.eRobertParker.com
