Weitere Verkostungsnotizen

Decanter Magazine:

„Lemon yellow, quite restrained floral nose, fresh pears, green apples, shows complexity and vineyard depth, great purity and quite succulent length while retaining its restrained and impressive class. Drink 2013-20." 18,5/20 Punkte www.decanter.com

James Suckling:

"This is fabulous, long and superintense, with dried pineapple and sliced apples. Dense and powerful, with a great backbone of acidity and a long, long finish. Wonderful structure in this baby white. 95-98 Punkte "J.S."

Jancis Robinson:

"Some nerve as well as some fat on the nose here. Firm and mineral on the finish. Real structure to this bone dry wine. Not unlike de Fieuzal but a bit richer. I feel confident that more interest will develop." 17,5/20 Punkte www.jancisrobinson.com

Bettane & Desseauve:

"A miracle of nobility and aromatic complexity, with notes of apricots and white and yellow fruit, mind-blowing tension and purity on the palate, and above all a fabulous grace, harmony and detail for this wine that normally plays hide and seek with us at this age." 97-98 Punkte Quelle: "TOP 2009 BORDEAUX RATINGS"

Neal Martin:

"Tasted at the chateau. Dark garnet hue. The nose awakes slowly, imbued with a sense of control instead of the some of the more vivacious, immediate bouquets. There is very fine minerality and delineation, dark cherry fruit, Doris plum, just a hint of briary with a very faint hint of truffle. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, very fresh, not as much weight as some of the other Pessac/Graves, light on its feet, very feminine, wonderful definition on the finish. This looks like it will turn out to be a very pretty Domaine de Chevalier Rouge. Tasted April 2010." 91-93 Punkte Quelle: "The Wine Advocate, issue 188"
