Robert Parker:

"It was surprising to find a hint of herbs in this 2009 Pauillac, but despite its progress over recent years, this classified growth can’t seem to get over the top. Attractive, elegant, crunchy, red and black currant notes emerge from this medium-bodied, dark ruby/purple-colored effort. Drink it over the next 15 years."Quelle: "The Wine Advocate", issue 188

Jane Anson:

"Rich, pure, very strong, a touch too hot in alcohol for me, but there is plenty to like and this is clearly bedding down for the long haul. Easily one of the best wines that I have tasted from this estate, and rewarding a recent programme of replanting and careful selection."Quelle: www.newbordeaux.com

Decanter Magazine:

"Black red, quite smoky, well-concentrated cassis nose, good depth of fruit and big fleshy wine, tannins still a bit raw. Drink 2015-24." Quelle: www.decanter.com

Bettane & Desseauve:

"Très beau Pauillac, complet, avec des arômes nobles de cèdre et de graphite, une excellente chair, un tanin judicieux, l’ensemble donnant le sentiment de grande maîtrise et confirmant les progrès spectaculaires de la propriété. Le terroir commence à parler et c’est peut-être le meilleur du hameau de Bages."

18/20 Punkte "This is a beautiful Pauillac, complete, with noble notes of cedar and praphite, wonderful substance, balanced tannins, perfectly mastered vinification, shows the spectacular progress of the winery. The terroir is starting to show through and this may be the best wine from the tiny town of Bages."(Quelle: "TOP 2009 BORDEAUX RATINGS")

Neal Martin:

"Tasted at Vintex and the UGC. This is certainly a better nose than displayed in recent years with ripe black fruits and raspberry coulis, yet there is an underlying greenness that peeks its head out in time. The palate is not bad at all, well balance with fine tannins, cohesive with touches of cigar box interlacing the black fruit towards the poised finish. It is just that soupcon of greenness that niggles on the aromatics, otherwise this would be a great Croizet-Bages. I suspect this will improve in barrel and may come out the other side better…Tasted March 2010."Quelle: "Wine Journal", www.eRobertParker.com
