Robert Parker:

"Tasted on four separate occasions, many of the Bordeaux intelligentsia were high on the 2009 Berliquet. Consultant Stephane Derenoncourt produced a wine with record levels of alcohol (14.5%), but while I found it to be elegant and well-made, it was not singing. Furthermore, it revealed rustic tannin and a somewhat rugged style. It is made from extremely low yields of 19 hectoliters per hectare, with malolactic accomplished in barrel and aging on its lees, a variation on Burgundys centuries old traditional practices. The wine exhibits lots of minerality, plenty of berry fruit, and a hint of herbs. While very good to excellent, I do not believe it will ever be outstanding."Quelle: "The Wine Advocate, Issue 188" 87-89 Punkte

René Gabriel:

"Sattes Purpur-Granat. Verführerisches Cassisbouquet mit faszinierendem Veilchenton, eher schlank im Ansatz. Im Gaumen dropsig, mit einem feinen Karamellfilm über dem seidigen Extrakt, ofenbart erst im Nachklang seine Reserven."Quelle: "WEINWISSER" N° 5/2010

Jane Anson:

"Oh, I like this one a lot. This has a gorgeous amount of fruit, beautifully succulent, whole blackberry with a touch of bakers yeast a wholewheat muffin with melted blackberries, Im thinking Magnolia Bakery on Bleaker! Lovely acidity, great tannic structure, the whole things floats along but delivers a killer punch. Gorgeous got to be the best I have ever tasted from this chateau."Quelle: www.newbordeaux.com 95 Punkte

Decanter Magazine:

"Pure fruit expression. Fine tannic texture. Long finish. Vineyard and terroir show. Drink 2015-2025." Quelle: www.decanter.com 16,5/20 Punkte

James Suckling:

"Offers precision and beauty, with floral, blackberry and violet aromas. Full-bodied, with supersilky tannins and a long, balanced finish. Caressing and loving. Then hits you. A new wine from the same team of Larcis-Ducasse J.S." 93-96 Punkte

Jancis Robinson:

"Drink 2015-2025; Dark and polished. Tarry and intense on the nose. Black-cherry jam. Succulent and sweet. Polished tannins. Quite a bit of alcohol. Perhaps just a little too soft? Lacks refreshment value." Quelle: www.jancisrobinson.com 16/20 Punkte

Bettane & Desseauve:

Jean-Marc Quarin:

"Couleur sombre, belle, de bonne intensité. Nez fruité, mûr et légèrement crémeux et épicé. Bouche douce, suave, au goût fin, au corps normal. Le vin fond et s'achève fruité, mais discret dans sa finale. Le vin a été grêlé à 70%. L'assemblage est à 70% merlot et 30% cabernet franc."© Copyright www.quarin.com, Jean-Marc Quarin (JMQ). 88 Punkte

Neal Martin:

"Tasted at the Saint Emilion UGC, this has a ripe, almost exotic nose that flirts with over-extraction (but only flirts.) The palate is well balanced with layers of sappy black fruit, good acidity and a finesse on the finish that counterpoises its power to the right degree. Harmonious and modern in style, this is a very fine 2009 from the estate. Tasted March 2010."Quelle: "Wine Journal", www.eRobertParker.com 91-93 Punkte

VINUM:

"Interessante Würze, Kräuter und Tee, saftig und robust, herb und kräftig, mit Potenzial. Das Finale mag etwas zu feurig scheinen, doch die Balance stimmt."Quelle: vinum extra Juni 2010 "Bordeaux Primeur 2009" 16/20 Punkte
