This is sweet and beautiful with a lovely combination of ripe tannins and pretty fruit. Full-bodied but balanced and long. But the second sip, it really grabs you. One to look for. 24 percent Merlot, 70 Cabernet Sauvignon, 3 percent Cabernet Franc and 3 Petit Verdot. J.S."

"Tasted at Chateau Batailley, the Beau-Site 2009 represents a blend of 24% Merlot, 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot, cropped at 45hl/ha, this has a curious bouquet that instantly reminds me of Playdough that I used to get in my hair as a child! The palate is medium-bodied, very disjointed at the moment, that clayey element coming through. Quite cohesive but for me, lacking a little freshness towards the finish. Tasted March 2010."Quelle:Wine Journal, www.eRobertParker.com
